Philippa Powell

POWELL, Philippa Jane (nee Newman). Born April 15, 1980. Passed away October 14, 2023. After a hard fought 3-year battle with bowel cancer, Philippa passed away at Totara Hospice on Saturday the 14th of October, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife of David, mother of Cameron, stepmother of Noah, Molly and Gabe, daughter of Anne and Paul, daughter in law of Lesley and Laurie, sister and sister-in-law of Timothy, Hannah, Anthony, Elizabeth and Matthew and adored Aunty Pipi of Brianna, Hunter, Scott, Hazel, Toby, Austin, Harvey and Lucy. A service to celebrate Philippa’s life will be held on Friday the 20th of October at 1.30pm at Elim Christian Centre, 159 Botany Road, Botany. In lieu of flowers a donation to Totara Hospice, Manurewa would be appreciated.
