Derek Malcolm Speer

Died 14 July 2024, aged 83. Treasured husband of Elizabeth, devoted father of Melanie and Amanda and father-in-law of Gareth, loved grandpa of Hamish and Luke.

An academic, a traveller, a man of faith, Derek touched many lives and will be missed.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at St John’s Church, 245 Bucklands Beach Rd on Friday 19 July at 11am.
