Resthaven Bereavement Support

Everyone deals with grief in a different way. There is no right or wrong way and no time constraint. It is important for everyone to do this in their own timeframe. When someone dies, family and friends can find it difficult to cope with the tremendous grief they experience, and can be unprepared for important decisions and arrangements that need to be made.

Resthaven Funerals understands the grief journey and the needs of families and friends going through the stress of bereavement. After the funeral we offer a free book, “Now What?” A guide for people living with the death of someone close, by highly regarded Grief Counsellor Lois Tonkin.

At Resthaven Funerals we are committed to providing ongoing care and support to our bereaved families. Grief takes time and at Resthaven Funerals we recognise this and make follow up contact in the ensuing weeks to give any advice, support or information you require.

We can provide contact details and information regarding support groups, agencies and library resources which are available within our community to help you through this time.
